Paying to play online is utterly hilarious. Lack of core games on the HD was not even listed, good job reading.

As for community on Xbox LIVE show me where people get together discuss the game ad mod it or do ANYTHING about a given game.

Also run your WoW through your Steam and you can talk to your friends on L4D2 perfectly fine by pressing shift+tab.

Wii has no installs and doesn't have any game patches either. The whole point is that the Wii doesn't have to put up with any of that BS. Also those things do indeed cause pains, as the crashes of the firmware 3.10 on the PS3 has shown. Also you don't need the newest drivers to play the newest games, otherwise my 3 year old laptop wouldn't be able to run MW2 wit its driver from '06.

PC vs HD

Arguments against HD:

- Subpar graphics

- Lack of good controls

- Lack of good core games

- Horrendous online (you even have to pay for it on some systems)

- Subpar small games releases

- Games which barely iterate and bring anything new to gaming, dumbed down games

- Lack of online communities

- DLC should be free

DLC ain't free on the PC either, my Wow DLC cost me 14.99$ a month, and oh, I have to pay to play online !!!!!

And oh, it's only the most played game ever on the PC.....

If PC is so great why won't my Mass Effect runs on my rig when Wow runs perfectly...( and it's not like Wow is a small niche game..)

Actually your DLC cost you 30 bucks if you bought the expansoin, and you got a ton more content for those 30 bucks than if you chose to spend 30 bucks on any other DLC.  15 bucks a month gets you a server with several thousand player being on it at the same time.

Whatm the expansion? If WoW was on the cnsoles BC would have been "WoW 2 ZOMG!" and WOTLK would have been " WoW 3: Rize of ARTHAS!" Notice the fact it's NOT DLC it's an expansion. Also if you wanna pick on WoW. How many games which supports thousands of simultnous people are on the consoles? I seem not to be able to ame even one. I guess I should put that up there if you wanna be so specific, "general lack of being able to handle genres of games" would make it much nicer.

How is PC online so much better? I played runescape once but never really noticed how it was much better than PS3. Unless that is a bad example.

Also the wii and pc have a lot in common with getting shafted by 3rd party developers. You can pick out a lot of things that each have in common.

PS3 can support M+K and mods if the developer wants it so that's one thing off pc.

What do you mean PC gets shafted by 3rd part developers? There is no 1st party to begin with on the PC.

As for community you have to participate in it, join clans, go on the forums, make mods, maps, w/e for the games etc. WoW by itself has more of community than the entire PSN and LIVE network combined.
