NSMBW will destroy MW2 over the next year. Reggie is totally correct.
NSMBW is right up the Wii demographic alley -- its almost guaranteed to sell a zillion copies. The fact that its also awesome is just gravy.
See, I don't know about NSMBWii. Everything I hear about it talks about how hard it is. And, I think that lessens its appeal to casual market right there. Now, it's true that there is supposed to be an easy mode, but still I don't think a platform game will have the same kind of a appeal as a Kart racer which anyone can just jump into. Also since it is a platformer it probably won't have the same replayability as a Kart racer either.

I don't see how this was a problematic comment at all, though. If you watch the video, Geoff asks how the game will sell, "more than Modern Warfare 2?" Reggie ends up making a friendly bet out of it, and even ends up talking about how great Modern Warfare 2 will probably be.

Platformers like that have varied ways to go through. Those have loads of replay value.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

I don't think anyone is expecting MW2 to outsellf Halo3 on the 360........

woah woah theres people like that! they need some reachering to do then because wii sports 40+ million...
anyways I expect nsmbwii will outsell mw2 in ferbruary 2010 in my prediction...
