Back then, over 1 month ago i expected PS3 to stay at 40k+, so 60k wouldn`t be impossible. But PS3 went to 30k, so that`s why it did only around 40k this week. Anyway, still nice numbers, compared to last year`s PS3 sales in Japan.

Looks good for the PS3 to hold up around 10k over the current market leader in Japan. Sony has a lot of work to do elsewhere though, when it's still trailing behind in the bigger markets (Americas, Others) by 100k+ in each territory.

Nice numbers for the PS3. Tekken 6 and Bayonetta did great. Incredible sales from P3P to think that's only day 1 Woot! and Uncharted 2 having a nice legs. Pokemon is still a beast. Great sales for Inazuma eleven 2, Level 5 really deserved those sales. Really disappointed with Super robot Taisen's sales.

And we don't even have digital sales (sadly). Or Famitsu count those too?

Famitsu and Media Create don't count digital sales.

When the preview came out this past Sunday, Forza 3 wasn't even mentioned, looking at the top 30, unless im blind, its not even charting after the first week. kinda surprising since the userbase of the 360 has tripled since Forza 2.

Also Sin and Punishment 2 for the Wii, I mean come on your cannot make an excuse for that number, seriously wii 3rd party developments needs to be reconsidered in Japan.

Tekken and Bayonetta did alright.
