If you look at Forza 2. It sales trend clearly shows that it was hevily bundled at some point in its life, And it didnt sell that many without the bundles. (by fanboy expectations)

By the looks of the graph Forza 2 probably sold like 1.5-2 million copies max and the rest are bundled. Just check the sales graphs i have linked and you will see what i mean.

Because of this It is clear that the Forza franchise isnt really a desirable series amongst 360 owners. So i expect Forza 3 to sell around the same amount of units as forza 2s 1.5 millionish. Unles it is seriosuly bundled. by heavily i mean mandatory like how forza 2 was. This is what i like to call the RESISTANCE EFFECT.

You can hardly call that a good bundle when you can get a PS3 bundled with a game for the same price. I mean like a proper mandatory bundle. Like the ones Forza 2 had

Forza 2 wasn't released at a prime time of the year like Forza 3 is. Secondly, I think Microsoft is doing better getting the word out about the game this time around. Anyone that remembers Summer 2007 knows that Forza 2 was released in relative quiet and was getting shafted in favor of Bioshock and Halo 3 as far as attention was concerned. This time it's coming after Halo and is the center of attention for Microsoft.

Without bundling I think it can do 3 million, give or take a bit. If it gets a sweet mandatory bundle it's hard to say how far it can take the game.
