He's seen me play Uncharted, and said it looked boring. He's not much into the single player experience. He bought 6 controllers already (he had 6 controllers for the 360 too) even though there are only three people in his house, saying he doesn't want guests touching his or his daughter's controller.

6 Controllers? That ain't cheap.

^The guy's rich. Financial planner guy.

About him hating MGS4, it's mostly down to the cutscenes. Halfway through the first long one (the helicopter scene with campbell, I believe), he got really impatient and kept saying that cutscenes are a thing of the past. He then kept commenting that the action sequences were too dull, the game's story is confusing, and the controls felt old. When he got to the next long cutscene, he gave up, and told me to return the game.

Before that, though, I tried to get him to look at Metal Gear Online. It liked it for a short time, but said that Gears was far better. So I took it and returned it.

Eh, well, some people just don't like the game. It is true that it doesn't welcome new players to the series all that well. There is a lack of explanation about what happened before, and a lack of introduction to the world of stealth either. It sorta feels like a game designed for the fans really.

I had and still have NO idea how to do stealthy things on MGS4

Currently playing: MAG, Heavy Rain, Infamous

Getting Plat trophies for: Heavy Rain, Infamous, RE5,  Burnout and GOW collection once I get it.

PS3 brings families closer. Guess that's one more notch to add to the 'It does everything' bit lol

It only does everything

ha so iam not the only one, no one is allowed to touch my white one.

MGS4 is a great game, but it is indeed only targeted for the fans (I've been a fan before the PlayStation days, as I own the very first one for MSX2). It also isn't hard to use stealth.

As for MGO, it's by far one of my favorite online games this gen. Very unique, and very tactical. Sadly, glitches and awful servers hold it back from being the best.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

If your brother likes little big planet, you should tell him to buy Mod Nation when it comes out.
