I could just be a mistake though.

Almost all gamers that take gaming serious have a gaming PC that can play ME. The ones that didn't in 2007, by now already got a good PC.

LOL, strange comment, I play video-games since im 5 years old, im now 25. My computer isnt to play games, I have a PS3 and 360 for that. Im certainly not casual as I like JRPG but also WRPG, the 2 systems have enough games.
I'd be kinda pissed. ME2 is one of the reasons I got a 360.
Some people (including myself) are just not that comfortable with PC gaming. I hate having to do the troubleshooting thing and figuring out why the hell such and such game doesn't like my computer even though I meet the spec recommendations (don't get me started on spec requirements. those are a joke). It's so much easier to just pop in a disc in your console and know that it's going to work (unless it's damaged or it's a manufacturing defect). No one wants to go through such frustrations after paying for a game. Maybe that's a big part of the reason why piracy is so popular with PC games and people don't bother to buy PC games as much anymore.
The same way places posted L4D was gonna be on PS3. Nope
ME2 is coming out early next year, if it was coming to the PS3, Bioware would have long announced it. They want to make money, ME1 wasnt on the PS3, why would PS3 owners on a whole buy a sequel to a game that most of them havent played? It wouldnt make much money.

Yeah your right, and I want to add that most people have a computer in a seperate room. While its better to be playing in the living room on a bigger television (in my case projector). You could always say that you can plug your computer on the tv or projector but in this case you need 2 computers and the resolution for evrything but gaming is not so great on a tv out computer.

It would prolly sells as much on PS3 tho, even if its a sequel, its an RPG. Most people I know that have 2 console (including me) prefer to play RPG on PS3 because of the D-pad.
edit: well thinking about it I also have a few friends that would play them on 360 anyway to keep building their achievements
We know M$ had a contract with Bioware...being bought out by EA didn't dissolve that contract. This owuld be like Marvel being bought out by Disney, and Sony having to return Spider-Man rights back...Nope...doesn't work that way. M$ has been pretty coy to aviod strong arming EA...but believe you me...there would be some litigation if that happened.
