Sorry read the first post and did not realise the numbers were wrong. It should be deleted and re-made with the correct numbers as people wont read every page to find out 3 pages in that the figures in the OP were wrong.

144k for GT is better, not great though. For a country as mad as us English for our racing games and with an install of 22m, i would of expected more. But it could of been worse!

very expected for wii, i didnt expect more. Pricecuts dont do alot in Japan, new models are often more successful, and it showed with the PS3 slim. I think from this week on the battle starts! very exciting, 1st week is won by PS3, next week it's gonna be tight!

If the American numbers are right there is a great possibility for a 300k+ week...so far we know: Japan 30+k, Americas 150+k...i couldn't believe Others have sold less than 120k Wiis...probably Ninty needs more effort in Japan (bundles!!).

Thread needs a reboot.  People are commenting on two different sets of numbers.

Agreed. I think HG/SS will be bigger than anyone expected. Probably gonna have a shot at 5 million in Japan alone. The game is apparently sold out week after week and the sales over the holidays will most likely be huge.
