In class.

Around the Network

Senior in HS in my TV Production class... all the local channels were out but we watch live unedited footage of the events unfolding over the satellite feed, and these images have been ingrained into my memory ever since.

Still pisses me off to this day if I come across somebody in real life who believes that it was an inside job or that we deserved what we had coming to us.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

6th grade reading class I believe. All of a sudden one of my friends comes in and said terrorists had run planes into the twin towers. I had no idea what a terrorist was or twin towers but could tell it was bad. About half the people in school that day went home because obviously had some pretty freaked out parents.

Really wasn't for another couple of years before I started to understand the situation entirely and another few years after that, that I got the non-nationalist American point of view haha. But I was never really freaked out about it because hard to get freaked by something you didn't understand it.
