I see that the majority disagree with you.
That majority includes Sony fans, Ninty fans and even MS fans.
So yeah...
As much as I like the 360, it doesn´t hold a candle to the PS1, IMHO.
There were many more gems for the PS1 by the time it turned 4 years old (back in 1999) than there are for the 360 now that it´s also turning 4...again, IMO.

360 higher than ps1? Talk about blasphemy. I didn't read the list but this one is downright criminal. PS1 deserves the 1st postition or at least top 3 but certainly not below 360.

Intellivision was the first to feature:
in-game pause, licensed games (sports in particular), games delivery mechanism (through cable before the Intenet was commericalized), keypad input on the system controller
TG-16 was the frist to feature:
CD-based add-on (personally, I thought this was the weakest of the three mentioned)
Colecovision was the first to feature
arcade-quality ports, add-on/special feature controllers

calling a console with a never before seen ridiculous high failure rate high quality is beyond any sanity and alone this fact should disqualify it from the top 10.
if ms released it now with its actual failure rate of the new skus, that would be another thing.

I have the most FUN with my Xbox 360 since my SNES, it is my second favorite console of all time (and I have been a console gamer for 27 years), it is entirely possible for someone else to share this opinion. Isn't it about FUN? I mean, they're toys we play with for fun. Give it a frickin' rest kids.
Edit: I heartily agree with Kirby, for some reason no one wants to give MS any credit at all for anything. No matter what they do, some people are going to think that everything XBOX related is crap, when this is far from the truth.

There is no way the 360 is better than the PS1. The PS1 brought us Gran Turismo, Final Fantasy 7,8,9, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Metal Gear Solid, Crash Bandicoot, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Tomba, Final Fantasy Tactics, Resident Evil 2, Vagrant Story, Alundra, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, as well as an absolutely gigantic onslaught of never surpassed RPGs like Persona 2: Innocent Sin, Silver Star Story and other cult classics like Parasite Eve.
The playstation one emerged out of no where into an industry that was known to be dominated by nintendo, sega, and atari. the PSone literally WIPED the floor with every other competitor. it went from nothing to being the first console to ever sell 100million units, the first console to ever have a shelf life of over 10 years, the first successful CD based console. The first console to incorporate high quality FMV cutscenes. The PlayStation was so successful that it is the very reason that the XBOX and the 360 exist today. It was SONY's massive success that made Microsoft get into the console buisness.
The PlayStation paved the way for 20 years of complete dominance by the PlayStation family, and lead way to the PlayStation 2. Anyone who thinks that the 360 is more important to gaming than the PSone is a fanboy. The 360 gets ahead of the ps3 for its online abilitys, but most certainly not the PSone. PSone is ONLY behind Snes and PS2.
