The ps3 slim is the BEST blu-ray player value.

No blu-ray player offer 120GB, wi-fi,2usb,blutooth,web-browser and media gallery.

The PS3 holds the crow as the best high-tech device ever.

As a blu-ray player it destroys in quality/value the competition.

As gaming device it destroys in quality/value the competition.

No, its just the console which lost the most money, ever.

With the original Xbox in 2nd place.

Anyways, "best" high tech device is very subjective as my PC can do all the functions the PS3 can do minus Blu-ray which would just cost me like $80 to add.

Awww... you mean as opposed to the console which lost the CONSUMERS most money, ever : The Xbox 360? LOL. Better Sony than me. All those years of LIVE, all those repairs out of warraty, all those that died when there wasn't even a warranty (and E74 until very recently)...no man, you should have some shame someday and stop bashing the PS3. You'll end up buying one sooner rather than later when the crapbox bricks on you out of warranty !

So THE got banned over this but Squilliam is innocent?

It (PS3's market share) might hit 30%, but definently not more. ~ Neo

Flaming (Calling another user (any user) a fanboy is flaming.) ~ Machina-AX

I bought one of these for our bedroom a month ago and it gets the job done. No where near the PS3 quality, but as a secondary player it works. And with catalog Blu-Ray movie prices finally dropping (Our local Walmart has a bunch for $10-$15) this could be a good stepping stone for people looking to jump on the Blu-Ray bandwagon.

Read it again. See if you can tell a difference.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

Not trying to start a console war debate but since you responded to Squilliam. I don't look at the original Xbox as the same kind of failure as the PS3.

The original Xbox didn't make a profit but it did help MS grow as a game console manufacture. The PS3 lost money and may have actually hurt the Playstation brand.

HDD, Wifi, web-browser and media gallery are definitly not the key features people expect from a good Blu-Ray players.

It is like compairing a 2 seats mercedes coupé with a Chrysler family van.

Ridiculous...

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

Well.. how is the quality in picture diffrent?

I only own one BR Player, but when I got a cheap DvD player vs my Sony DvD player (cost $80 more) I saw no diffrence in picture..

I did notice the diffrence in upscale DvD's tho..

What you pay is what you get

Say that to my Panny 1080p HDTV with IPS LCD Panels (http://www.pchardwarehelp.com/guides/lcd-panel-types.php) I bought on Black Friday for 500 bucks. Yes what you pay is what you get sometimes, when you buy Bose you pay for that Bose name and those paper speaker cones, so you don't have to settle with some cheap shitty Denon that are 3/4ths the price yet double the quality. What are consumers thinking!

And i got a Sony Bravia (40"1080/24p FullHD) two years ago for 800euro with normal price at 1300

Imagine an HDTV full hd 1080p LCD at $98 from an unknown company. Would you buy it?

Sometimes that bose name you said means quality and warranty

one of the players that arent upgradable? so confusing BR is a crok!

Hey ssj12, you have a home theater setup?

A. What is your BR player?

B. Unrelated - What is your TV and do you use bias lighting?
