well if u live in the UK you may have herd that GAME will let me trade my ps3 for the slim if i pay £99..

now, i do want a slim for the bigger hard drive, i have tryed upgrading mine 2 times and both times it worked for a while then broke. they were the correct kind of HDD aswell, as they came straight from the ps3 factory near me (taken by some mates shh dnt tell SONY) lol

its also a 60GB that i own aswell, so i would loose BC and card slots (o well about card slots)...

i never use ps2 BC as some games dnt work on it and i play ps3 games..not sure what to do?

£99 for a ps3 slim is cheap..but do i wanna loose my 60GB? what would you do??

Keep the 60GB.

The Cell detected the HDD was stolen and self destructed.

If you dont play PS2 games sell the 60gb, the 60gb over-heats way too quickly and you will soon get YLOD, and who even uses Card readers on PS3 just use USB, also the slim has the new Cell Chip. So buy the slim>

You'd be insane to trade in a 60GB PS3 for a slim.

^^the 60gb is worth less then the 40gb now b/c ot has "old" hardware

sell your 60 gig on ebay, you could sell it for JUST ABOUT the same price as a slim, since people want the BC and card slots. Just wait 2-3 weeks after the Slim launches, then some people are really going to want a PHAT

Remember this: GAME wouldn't be doing anything if they didn't think there was a benefit in it for them. Work out what that benefit is and see if you can go elsewhere to gain that benefit.
