Tekken has always been one of the most casual fighting series, right behind Super Smash Bros. Even if it does put out a good game, a lot of the internet hates it. Frankly, fighter games just aren't big anymore. We've known about Tekken 6 since before E3 2006, and it's STILL NOT OUT YET. This isn't something on the level of Gran Turismo or Final Fantasy caliber, so why should we keep our interest for this long?
Honestly, it looks like Tekken 1, but with current graphics. I don't know, fighters like this aren't that appealing to me anymore.
Plus, it's lack of exclusivity lowers it's importance.

I'm too lazy to dig them up, but I'm sure I could find a post from KylieDog where he posted faith in a review score. And if I did find something like that, it would show that he's a hypocrite.

Look, I'll agree with you that Tekken 5 isn't as good as Tekken 3. Tekken 3 was amazing. But that doesn't mean Tekken 5 itself isn't a great game. You just don't know what you're talking about.

Tekken 5 was great, imo, just because you didn't like it, doesn't mean it sucks, it was great, imo, and many others liked it as well, including most serious Tekken fans.

Even though it was only a decent game, nothing special, many, many fanboys on this forum treated the game like it was utter shite, just because the PS3 had a competing sandbox game that released at a similar time. Because no one has cared about Tekken since Tekken 3
Because it's not exclusive anymore, if it stayed exclusive it would of been hyped way more and people wouldn't ignore it as much.
Rockstar was right when they said making a game exclusive is better off then multiplat (when your trying to establish a new franchise)
