It's all part of a big scam. The site conspires to mobilize it's fanbases, so it makes the site's populace appear biased in the eyes of whoever comes here. Nintendo fans will think it's biased against them, and equally so for Microsoft and Sony fans.

Sony fanboys are like rampant zombies on this site. They walk around in a daze thinking they're console will prevail, and they run and attack everyone on this site who doesn't agree with them. Microsoft fans and Nintendo fans are the sane survivors of VGChartz who must stand up to the horde of Sony zombies infesting this site.
Back in the day this site was 75%wii, 20%sony, 5%xbox fans. Now its pretty much even amongst the 3. The polls really mean nothing.
Super Mario Galaxy was eliminated from best of the gen early on.

Yea its weird that New NSMB Wii got so few votes!
I figure mostly all the Wii owners would be looking forward to that, I know I would.
So it is bad for a lot of people to be looking forward to a game that you aren't?? Seems a bit narrowminded to me...
NSMB Wii is going to outsell all of those other games by a very wide margin. Edit: Thats what the polls asking
Perhaps a lot of people think Uncharted will be a better game than those two?? I think it will.
I'd also like to add that there are quite a few people on this site that don't seem to like shooters...
