Pretty good list of game if you ask me. I never played nintendogs or 428 but judging by the fact that the other 8 games on the list are fucking awesome I'm going to assume that they are as well. I like the way famitsu reviews. I consider them quite reliable on RPG's, I was actually really happy that they gave FFXII a perfect score.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64)  It's my favorite n64 game so I'll agree.
Soul Calibur (DC) No chance in hell that game deserves a perfect
Vagrant Story (PS1) 9/10 maybe.
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (GC)  The boating thing got annoying so fast. 8/10
Nintendogs (DS) 6/10 it got boring within 10 minutes.
Final Fantasy XII (PS2) 9/10  without a love theme it just wasn't final fantasy
Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii) This is debateable
Metal Gear Solid 4 (PS3) 9/10 because it was just too much cinema
428 (Wii) 420? sounds like weed
Dragon Quest IX (DS) never played

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64)  Probably.
Soul Calibur (DC)   9/10
Vagrant Story (PS1)  Yes. It was original and had the so called VATS in fallout 3. Too bad I lost my CD...couldn't finish it.
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (GC) ..No Idea.
Nintendogs (DS)   No, my highest would be 8/10
Final Fantasy XII (PS2)  Um kinda hard, but 9/10.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii)  ...8.5/10
Metal Gear Solid 4 (PS3)  Depends. I loved the cutscenes(Great voice acting) and the gameplay ( Stealth or non-stealth, you choose)
428 (Wii) no idea wth is that.
Dragon Quest IX (DS) 8.5/10

All these games got a 40 out of 40 from the publication.

Your thoughts and opinions?

Final Fantasy XII and Nintendogs? Fail.

At least they got OoT and MGS4 right.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64) My fave game of all time.
Soul Calibur (DC) Never played it, not a fan of 3D fighting games.
Vagrant Story (PS1) One of the best games by S-E, but not a 10.
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (GC) This game is underrated, it's in my top 3 zelda games, what a nice way to reinvent the franchise.
Nintendogs (DS) Hell No, not my type of even, and even a 10 for a game about dogs just seems dumb.
Final Fantasy XII (PS2) Great JRPG, bad FF game. I enjoyed X more than XII.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii) I hate brawl, its an overrated game, this game is an 8.5 max.
Metal Gear Solid 4 (PS3) Never played it, and probably never will, PS3 is just too expensive.
428 (Wii) Never played it, it won't come to the US.
Dragon Quest IX (DS) Dragon Quest + Level 5 = WIN. I haven't played the game, but i'm sure it deserves a 10.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64) - 6
Soul Calibur (DC) - 2
Vagrant Story (PS1) - 2
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (GC) - 8
Nintendogs (DS) - haven't played, no interest
Final Fantasy XII (PS2) - 1
Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii) - agree, 10
Metal Gear Solid 4 (PS3) - haven't played
428 (Wii) - haven't played
Dragon Quest IX (DS) - haven't played, but if it's as boring as the other games in the series, no way it's anywhere near a 10.

SSBB Friend Code = 5455-9050-8670 (PM me if you add so I can add you!)

Tetris Party Friend Code = 116129046416 (ditto)

imo anything with FFXII higher than a 5 is not valid

This thread has sealed my opinion that gamers give far, far too much significance over numerical scores in game reviews. They are a useful general guide, but the important part of a review is discussing the actual gameplay and such. Furthermore, quality being subjective, different people will give different games different scores. I've sunk dozens and dozens of hours into a game that has a 59% on gamerankings (Victoria for PC).

In short, I feel quibbling over the numerical summary of a game is silly. Arguing vehemently over the internet even more so.

Okay, where were the flaws in Wind Waker? Other than you not liking it for whatever reason, there weren't many flaws to the game, it was near perfect IMO.

Technically, no. Game design, many.  1- its the shortest of the zelda games, 2 - the art direction nearly broke the game for me outright 3- much smaller dungeon maps. It was to me, the most casual/introductory zelda of them all.

In other words, Wind Waker was to the Zelda series what Episode 1 was to the Star Wars movies.
