Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Why is the 360, the console of choice for beta testing?

HAHAHAHA!
Βeta testing???
I'd rather say it is the favorite console for making money and promote new and unique IP's or great all time games, and then, a year later, while they are developing the "part 2" thing, make a crappy PS3 port, to support the part 2 development.
I mean, seriously, you mention two expamples like Βιoshock and Orange Box, in which cases, the PS3 editions were not even made by the original development teams.
Do you seriously believe what you;re sayin?

Wouldn't "Lost Planet: Extreme Condition' be a better example?

The OP confussed me at first, but i think kiefer23's post.

As for the PS3 owners getting additional content for game released later...it's only fair really, seeing as the games are relased later...what more is there to say...

I'd be pissed if a game for my console of choice was released 1 year later with NO additional content.

When I say this, I don't mean it in an anti-360 way.  What I mean by it is, why does the 360 get several unfinished games, see The Orange Box, Tales of Versperia, Eternal Sonata, Bioshock, etc.  just for finished products to be on the PS3 or PC.  We shouldn't stand for this..

I hope I'm not the only one who sees this.

Orange box (PS3) was a joke

Fallout 3 (PS3) was nearly unplayable at launch

Bioshock (PS3) only got a "playground" thing

ToV (PS3) Only got 2 new characters and more voice acting.

Eternal Sonata (PS3) only got 1 or 2 more playable characters

Every multiplatform game on the PS3 is inferior except one of the Burnouts and some other racing game.

ususally the 360 gets the better more finished games IMO. But if there were huge changes between different console versions of the same game i might be angry but so far its been fine

I mostly play RTS and Moba style games now adays as well as ALOT of benchmarking. I do play other games however such as the witcher 3 and Crysis 3, and recently Ashes of the Singularity. I love gaming on the cutting edge and refuse to accept any compromises. Proud member of the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race. Long Live SHIO!!!!

Really, a mod complain about me using the word fanboys and these kind of post and threads pop up left and right on 360 forum.

lol, so ps3 is getting 360 games year later with new costumes/2 sidequests/1 new playable characters and you want to call it a beta?

the proper question here is - why ps3 owners are getting only some shitty content when the are waiting for those games several months and why most of those games play like shit compared to 360 versions?

I don't know wether this guy is speaking tongue-in-cheek or is just trolling.

Crappy internet forums and text-only communication.

Anyways kudos for the extrmely ambiguous message.

WTF......you pretty much listed all the extra features of these MP games that are only on ps3 version and yet call it inferior?

Really?

Because when I played Orange Box, it was a fantastic experience and nowhere near as sloppy as I'd been told by reviews to expect, and then when I purchased Fallout 3 on release last year, I never had a single problem from the moment the disc went in.

Are these personal experiences of yours? Describing something as "nearly unplayable" is a pretty substantial claim. Hope you can back that up.

On topic, is this a Rol thread?
