That seems inaccurate. So no slowdown what so ever for the 360?

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

You could possibly explain some of the 360 sales on grey imports into the rest of Europe but I would expect this to be replicated with the others also.

That said I think the Wii buzz has died down a lot and the Arcade is taking sales.

ok, so they are accurate, always and forever more. Well i know for a fact you NEVER believe just one source for news, fortunately we have both NPD and Gfk numbers double checked by VgChartz.

I just don't see how every thing drops and yet 360 jumps. This is more than 6 months after a price drop too and also when the economy and its effects are truely being felt across employment in the UK.

It's surprising to me how many times 100K++ adjustments are needed here. Not trying to troll or anything, just surprised thats all.

I think a lot of these sales are Arcade units. They are very significantly cheaper than any other console.

UK is quickly becoming 360 land, outside of America of course.

If these numbers are right, then UK is THE 360 land. Outselling the Wii, it doesn't come close to doing that even in America.

dude, i was not getting angry. Simply pointing out the potential for error irrelivent of who it is. You don't seem to have done that.

It's alright megaman, the wii will get back up soon enough, games are coming. But, don't get all numbers are wrong because the 360 outsold it.

The big news is that according to this data the 360 has been outselling the Wii and the DS in the UK over the last half-year:

360 700k
DS/DSi 600k
Wii 500k
PS3 300k

PSP 100k

We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai

It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps

We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick

That's incredible considering the DSi launch a few months ago. I find it hard to believe.
