I finally managed to defeat the Wendigo, it gave me a hell of a time (though I admit I didn't have much time to play it). The game's really hard, much more than Persona. I hope it doesn't reach Nocturne-like difficulty

I´ve played Persona 3 on normal then hard. I´ve been playing Persona 4 on expert. Did you try out these modes? If you have, how do they compare with Devil Survivor?

Yeah the fusion system is awesome. I just spend an hour nonstop fusing and buying demons. Being able to choose the skills in the inheritance is pretty useful, as well as the search function.

I just finished the third day, and the boss was tough. Every other battle was a cakewalk, but this one was tough to beat. This game is harder than P3 & P4 on normal. Haven't tried them on hard yet.

It's more SMT than Persona, there's no life-simulation part. Actually, it's hard to place it, since it's not that similar to any SMT either, in a sense it's similar to Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (that you travel to places to start the story battles)

Please tell thats the only part thats similiar because FF:TA was complete shit.

I was pointing a similarity, I could have used any SRPG, Disgaea if you want. In that sense, the game plays like a true SRPG

So are you trying to diss Fire Emblem zex? Are you!?

I didn't see a difficulty option; I think you need to beat it to unlock it. The game's been a cakewalk for the most part, but I heard it gets ridicously difficult near the end.

Just beat the fourth day. Great game so far.

Ok.... sorry

Devil Survivor looks like an excelent game, too bad that I don't have money now.

I meant the difficulty option in P3 and P4. I assume P3 & P4 on hard = Devil Survivor.

Only been playing this for a day (shipping took some time since it's an import) but already liking it a lot.
Though I wish it had more touch screen functionality.

I hated that boss. I made the mistake of trying to use one group to kill him off and failed to many times.

I also hope it doesn't reach Nocturne-like difficulty. I still need to beat Nocturne. I started the game on hard for the heck of it and can't get passed the second/third battle. The first time the enemy went first, got a critical, attacked again, and killed me. I also don't feel like starting a normal game due to how long it takes to get through the introduction.
