i like both of them, in fact i have all the dvd seasons they realeased but iam going to choose family guy, the season from 15 to present of the simpsons i think is the worst(well after 20 years they originality has to run out) and in family guy the most unlogical scene make you laugh.

The Simpsons was unrivalled from seasons 4-10, but if we have to talk competition, the patchy, inconsistent and unfunny Family Guy shouldn't be it. Futurama can hold its own against The Simpsons - and it recently got recommisioned for a full new series airing next year.

Family Guy, I admit, makes me laugh but at the end of the day, all of it's jokes are interchangeable. If I remember a certain funny moment, I honest to God, can't remember which episode it comes from. That's not good. I actually found recent episodes of "American Dad" to be better than Family Guy because of this.

As for the Simpsons, I guess it's because I was there for the beginning (it was my favorite part of the Tracy Ulman Show) but I still watch it. I still love it. I know the shock value of hearing a cartoon character say "ASS" or "Damn" isn't there anymore, but even when the jokes fail, the story is (in my opinion) still fun.

Simpsons for the win.

Right now, Family Guy. I'd rather watch a really bad Family Guy episode than a "good" Simpsons episode.

By the way, if he wanted to know about Futurama, he would have asked for it. Stick to the freakin' topic.

The last few years, Family Guy has been much better... but I think American Dad is the best animated show.
