These next couple of months will be huge for Nintendo. With Wii Sports Resort, Dragon Quest 9, and Monster Hunter 3. That is one hell of a 1,2,3 punch.

That makes it pretty hard for Sony and Microsoft to counter..

Well, not really. I had been going with a very conservative preorder value - gave myself a 25% margin of error in case it somehow only did 1.5m week one.

Anyone want to make some last minute estimates?

Well I said 2.25 million first week for DQIX. Think 2.5 million may be a little bit more accurate but I'm going to keep it at that for now.

Are we going to get first day sales because I know it's a day back than usual.

wsr - just a lil less then 400k, 3m lifetime. -- hardware... humm, cant be much... it'll bost it over a long period of time maybe like 60k? but not all at once.
dq - 2.2 million first week. 4.5 lifetime, 200k hardware
mh3 - 400k week 1, under 2 mill lifetime, less then 100k hardware

Wii Sports Resort already launched...not sure why you mentioned it just now.

I am gonna guess:

DQIX FW = 2.6 million
DQIX LTD = 5.0 million
DS HW FW = 250k

MH3 FW = 750k
MH3 LTD = 3.5 million
Wii HW FW = 150k

WSR FW = 600k
WSR LTD = 3.2 million
Wii HW FW = 65k

Again, Wii Sports Resort is already out it Japan. It did like 350,000 week one and pushed Wii hw up 25% and then 15% week two.
