Wii is the best console ever, and after the E3 and the great games that were shown for Wii i can't find how Nintendo can lose the war because of the Natal thing



It's not that it's revolutionary in the sense that they invented controller-less control... it's that the technology will be available to the mass market at an affordable price.



It's one of those technologies that you see in movies, or people grew up reading about in science fiction novels.

 

I think that if X360 Natal to have complete controllerless Netflix it will be huge.

Well I have read about it being very unresponsive and will take a long time to get right. It may not even be possible to fix everything. The ps3 stick is a lot more responsive.

In both cases, however, both Microsoft and Sony have tried to copy Wii, well actually try to make something better than wii. I think that both natal and ps3 stick will be a failure. I really could not imagine myself acting the way they have shown in the promotional video. It really does look like a joke which some kids may find amusing for a while. If the cost of Natal is high then it will totally fail and no one will try it.

Hmm, US media hyping a US company...never heard of that before. Also, we know where Yahoo sleeps at night so them hyping up MS is not even a remote surprise.

I think Natal will be pretty interesting but I also laugh at the people who dismiss the Sony wand thing combined with Eyetoy then trumpet Natal as something that belongs 30 years in the future. Time will tell people, time will tell.

i'm soo confused....what media hype are you talking about leo-j? i hear about natal basically everyday here on vgchartz forums but i haven't seen it anywhere in the mass media since about 2 weeks post E3. hell, i've tried to talk to some of my girlfriends work friends whom mostly have 360/wii and not a one had any idea what i was asking when i asked what they thought about natal.

I am not a great supporter of motion controls, but I will admit this Natal has my interest. As for Microsoft having a lot of this orchestrated, sure they did. Why wouldn't they? They are pretty good when it comes to marketing and I have no problems with it. Just like the Wii had so many celebraties hyping it when it first come out, there is no difference.

P.S. If this Natal had been built by Sony or the big N, it wouldn't have mattered to me I still would be interested. With all of this said, I still want to keep my old faithful gamepad. That will never change.........

I mostly play RTS and Moba style games now adays as well as ALOT of benchmarking. I do play other games however such as the witcher 3 and Crysis 3, and recently Ashes of the Singularity. this Natal will be like Transformers 2 vs The Godfather...Transformers got awesome special effects and technology (Natal) but is nothing compared to the great ol movies (games with gamepad)!

Natal will maybe sell like crazy but in the end sittin on the couch with a gamepad is the BEST!
