Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Bunch of new videos for New Super Mario Bros Wii

LOL at Yoshi vid, I don't want to ruin the surprise but it is funny.

The game looks like tons of fun.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

I've wanted a next gen 2d mario for a while now, and finally, FINALLY its coming! You can say what you want about Nintedos e3 press conference, but it wont change the fact that this game will sell far more units than anything seen on either MS or Sony's presentation.

Then again, the same could be said of Wii Sports Resort, Wii Fit Plus and the likes

the first time ive seen the vids.....id say this game is tied with The Last Guardian as my favorite..the two are so different...but god damn if that doesnt just look like a really cool concept with the style of SNES mario......if they make team based seperate story that requires LBP style teamwork without looking too much like LBP id say this game would be the best overall game at E3 this year for me.

It looks like a bunch of fun, but there is one thing I hope that changes.

The music, it looks like they took all the music straight from the DS version (sound effects too) Without adding anything to new, here is hoping it's placeholder.

Not to say i don't like the DS music, but i wish they would add something new.

From the impression I'm getting, it seems to be more of a NSMB reimagined/remade as a Wii game.

But still a new game at the same time.

Somebody tell me, how many levels in the DS version?

I would hope/expect at least 60 levels in this Wii version, since SMW had over 100.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Itd be really cool if they had co-op islands and branchways to unlock with friends....this could be really neat, really really cool.

I don't think I have ever wanted to play a Mario Game more than this one! I seriously can't wait.

Hi, this is Vince with Shamwow.

Miyamoto said around 80 levels during his E3 briefing thingy tonight.

It's looking great, and most importantly, fun!

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

Awesome, I'm really hyped for this.
