Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Metroid Prime Trilogy Hands-on - (All 3 games on one disc :O)

Yeah! I didn't even know they could do it on one disc.

But I'm glad they did.

Un-fucking-believable.

Since my MP3 disc is scratched, this is basically the best possible thing that Nintendo could ever have done ever. Unless maybe they were to revolutionize video game input again or make a new Punch Out!!

I dont have any Metroid game maybe this is my opportunity to start with the franchise.

I'll probably do this too.

I hope you'll be able to open old Metroid saved files (MP3).

Now Playing: Pikmin, Super Mario Galaxy 2

Why? You can always play with the disc you used.

You probably didn't read, but:

"Players will set up a profile using one of the system Miis, and all progress in each game will be stored to this profile. You'll be able to pull up how far you are, in percentage, in each of the games and the location of your save file. The front end also has an option menu that affects all three games, so if you've tweaked the controls or lock-on abilities, your settings will carry over into each of the products instead of requiring you to change it up every time."

so is this the "secret game" ign has been mulling over?

like with the secret pic they had an all that?

hello how are you.

Done deal! This is a must have for just about anybody. MP 1 is the only game out there that I think about all the time. It's just perfect in every way. And I really like what he says about how the Wiimote makes MP2's multiplayer more fun.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

If I'm going to get this, I'll be selling my current copy of MP3, so no, I couldn't play with my old disk.

I did read, but that doesn't really clarify the issue on whether this new package will be able to open old saved files.

And people say Nintendo don't care about the hardcore.

This is probably the best deal I've heard so far this gen. 3 AAA games for a suggested retail price of 50 bucks? Sign me up.
