Forums - Gaming Discussion - What´s YOUR 'golden age' of gaming?

Every gamer has a period of time he/she considers to be his/her golden age of gaming, that time when gaming was at its peak when it comes to simply having a lot of fun.

For a lot of gamers, their golden age of gaming was on past systems...Atari, NES, SNES, Genesis, PS1, N64, etc....others are probably experiencing right now what they´ll say, in the future, was their golden age of gaming.

My golden age of gaming was with the NES and SNES, especially the NES.

What´s yours?

I suppose it would probably be playing the original Halo....thats when i really started to enjoy gaming.

Snes, gameboy, Nintendo 64 and gameboy color. Good times.

Do you want japanese voices in FF13 and Versus 13? Write to these guys and tell them: support@square-enix-usa.com

PS1 & PS2 Crash FTW !!

I would have to say the end of the SNES/start of the N64 era and i say this not because i think the games were necessarily better but it was the time when i had both the time and the money to game as much as i wanted, which was alot.

NES era. Also, the PC adventure game era. I guess these coincided, though.

Stop getting so excited about a Kid Icarus remake... the original NES Icarus sucked.

90's.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Nintendo 64 era. Everything just seemed perfect.

Atari 2600, Colecovision, through the eighties pc adventure games from Infocom, Sierra, and Lucas Arts and SSI's D & D games to the NES and the Genesis and End of the SNES eras. With some systems like PS1, PS2, GBA, and some xbox and 360 games fitting in there as well.
