Forums - PC Discussion - Got a newer PC what games should I get.

So after being out of the PC gaming realm for about 4 years Im back with a semi new system. 2.3 Athalon Dual core, Radeon 4850 512 HD, 3 gigs of ram is what I got for about $250. Ive seen the 2009 games thread and a few have peaqued my interest, but I wanna know about the games before then that I missed. The only games I really dont like are Racers 3d fighters and MMORPGs. I find the majority of FPS's to be bland but I love CS and I am willing to try some new ones. I have tried games like Farcry, Bioshock and a lot of the games that are on 360/PC/PS3 multiplat and didnt care for them. I like almost anything else, love puzzle games, interactive mysteries/novels(Broken sword/Hotel Dusk/Phoenix Wright style games), but all reccomendations prior to this month would be appreciated. I just bought

The Witcher

Warhammer 40k: DOW2

and am getting

L4D and possibly demigod.

 

So what do you guys reccomend?



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Fallout 3 or defiantly Crysis just for the beauty of the game.

Empire Total war is awesome

Also your rigs a bit slow but you have to try crisis warhead you should atleast be able to run it on High settings depending on what resolution ur using but that game is amazing.

Get L4D that game is awesome, also cant wait for Starcraft 2!!!



I mostly play RTS and Moba style games now adays as well as ALOT of benchmarking. I do play other games however such as the witcher 3 and Crysis 3, and recently Ashes of the Singularity. I love gaming on the cutting edge and refuse to accept any compromises. Proud member of the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race. Long Live SHIO!!!!

 well idk bout collecting dust but my PC will definatly be runnin nonstop for weeks!!! Hell im excited as shit for Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2

Blizzard wont disappoint as i think the same as well. Will at least get PC game of the year (I stress at least lol).

Yep PC GOTY is confirmed but i really think they can take overall GOTY esp for 2009 considering the rather weak lineup of games for the 360 and wii.

In the end it should have no trouble cruising to victory
