The Ps3 is the n64 for Sony, minus the must have titles
No.
No. Second best, behind PS2.
Although the 60GB PS3 is a PS2, but I don't own that.
I love my PS3, but as long as it won't have the Halo series, Gears series, Fable series, and all of those other exclusive games, then no.
Currently this generation, I feel that the PS3 is the best system. But overall I dont think that any system will ever beat the PS2. The PS3 has the potential, but it would take A LOT to beat the PS2.
So I guess my answer is that it has the Possibility to be the greatest system, but the PS2 far outreaches it.
boxydancer said: I heard a while back that the PS3 was glitchy with some PS2 games. Was that ever fixed? |
mostly, but my GT4 still glitches horrible on the intro vid, and tracks like the Nurburgring are virtually undrivable due to screen stutters.
Funnily enough, it only seems to be driving games that give me grief...
anyway, OT, out of all the consoles I've owned, the PS3 has been my favourite. great games, awesome media capabilities, internet, PSP hook-ups, B/C, the backup facility, DVD upscaler, and always improving with firmware updates.
(please note the bolded: there are many, many consoles I haven't owned so this opinion is based on the ones I have owned)
Proud Sony Rear Admiral
No, I think the N64 is the best home console ever, and the DS is the best handheld ever.
The PS3 is the best console ever in the same way Perfect Dark was better than Goldeneye
