Mortal Kombat 3 felt kinda black sheepish too.  No Scorpion? Gameplay was completely altered, wierd combo system, etc.  The first two were the only real good Mortal Kombat games in my eyes.

100th post!!!  (and it only took me 3 months since my first post)

test drive, the original xbox version... god what a let down after 4,5,6

I guess it's going to have to be Super Mario Sunshine the good was good absolutely no flaws, so the game wasn't a revolution go cry me a river. Revolutions only happen every so often. Why do you thing Nintendo decided to call their system Wii and not revolution. Also while i'm at it, I've seen this happen a lot especially for Nintendo games people saying a game wasn't a revolution so it wasn't good name another another instance where that rule applies some where else.

I'm waiting....

ff mystic quest was targeted for non-RPG players. It was supposed to serve as an introduction to RPGs.

Yup, that's the whole purpose of mystic quest. I bought that game, too, thinking it's some omgawesomeness rpg. It's even got "mystic" and "quest" in the title. It's gotta be a really really really good.

My impression of that game was. wtf... wtf!?... WTF??!!!? All the way to DOUBLE U TEE EFF!11!!ONE!111!ELEVENTYONE11!!!

Okay, that might be exaggerated a bit :)

Have played:

Mario Sunshine (worse main series mario game)

3 3D Sonics (all crap)

Ratchet and Clank: Deadlocked (not as good as the other ratchet games)

KotOR 2 (Huge fall from the first)

Command and Conquer Generals and Renegade and dare I say 3? (All nothing next to the former glory of this series)

Tekken 4 (crap compared to the rest of the series)

Soul Calibur III (Worse Soul Calibur game)

and lots of others. Apparently I've played a lot of black sheeps of series...

Edit: Needed to add every single Mortal Kombat game after the 2nd one.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

I didn't originally put down Perfect Dark Zero, but on second thought I definitely should. I'm comparing it in my mind to its five-years-older predecessor, and the main advancement the game has made is ... graphics. Sure, there are other improvements, but what has really made it a better game than the one on the wrong side of Halo? Some stuff, definitely -- but not enough; and there are even a few steps backwards.

I bet you could make some people who have never touched either game play both of them, and they would have more fun on the original. No nostalgia -- just Rare at the top of its game. (One requirement: not a graphics whore.)

My advice to fanboys: Brag about stuff that's true, not about stuff that's false. Predict stuff that's likely, not stuff that's unlikely. You will be happier, and we will be happier.

When i saw the front cover i still had hope, till i saw the opening cutscene, then i began to swear at SE for making such a piece of shit.

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B
