Where did they say they only update the DS tracks? In the E3 teaser video you can already see some of the all new tracks, I guess the upgraded DS tracks are going to be a bonus. Just like the classic tracks in MK DS. 

 

 


yeah sorry i just worded it wrong. I know there are brand new ones, its just Id rather nintendo make even more new tracks rather then just using some of the mario kart ds ones

i'm a huge mario kart 64 fan, and still play it often today with my housemates. i personally think its the best multiplayer game ever, and the virtual consol and gamecube controllers make it perfect. double dash was a huge let down for me... just didn't like it. mario kart ds was also an awesome game, and had lots of fun with it. i'm looking forward to mk wii, but just hope its nothing like double dash

This is a must buy on my list! I'm not a big fan of racing games but this is so fun and unique, plus it's a blast with friends and familly!

I'll be buying it, but I'm not going to spend much of my energy getting hyped for it right now when there are so many other games I'm looking forward to between now and January. After that, I'll pay more attention to it, but right now Brawl and to a slightly lesser extent Galaxy have all my attention.

or will they make the item balance even worse than previous games... like how you're in 8th you get a lightning or a star everytime. or blue shell in double dash i guess.


 Argh, please Nintendo spare us!  Please take away the blue shells, they sometimes make me want to use the controller as bolas out the window!

Has anyone seen this off IGN talking about the online play for mario kart and how 16 players online is just a speculation. sorry if someone has already posted this.
