There needs to be more jrpgs with "save the world" plots like Vesperia or Digital Devil Saga 2 because in both DD2 and ToV you saved the world but at a huge cost.

What do you mean?
Save the World plots are still good, but telling the story wrong and messing it up can ruin it.
How about a JRPG where the feminine male lead discovers that he actually is gay and not just looks like he is?
How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...

Kanji Tatsumi in Persona 4 is the closest, but he's not actually feminine (in fact, he's pretty manly) and he's not the lead character. But yeah, he discovers he's gay
Or maybe there should be more jrpgs like Breath of Fire 5 where you get to play as both the main character and the main villain.
