 IT'S ALL LIES....

Official Nintendo Magazine - we goofed with Mario Kart Wii details

“The details printed in Official Nintendo Magazine 21 regarding Mario Kart Wii were healthy speculation on our part and are in no way an official announcement from Nintendo. We are sorry if we have mislead anyone. We do not set out to mislead our readers. ONM apologises profusely for any misunderstandings that this has caused.” - ONM (original story here)

360 Gamertag: PM me to find out!

Launch with headset would make me very happy. Good Find Donwii.

Stunts? In air? What is this, DKR?

Sounds good though...16 players is definitely nice. I assume it's still 4 on one console though? Does this have a double player feature, where 8 people could play on 4 carts? That would rock.

But Brawl...

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Their wording is disappointing, as it says this game will be the game to "launch the WiFi connection into the stratosphere."

@Ben,

Meaning that Brawl online, if at all, will be very bare bones, as Sakurai had previously mentioned.

Remember, Strikers is already online(Not Developed by Nintendo EAD)
Battallion Wars 2 is online (Not Developed by Nintendo EAD)
Brawl could be online (Not Developed by Nintendo EAD)

Mario Kart Wii will be their first stab at online (Developed by Nintendo EAD) and will probably be the Best online game for the Wii (at least, published by Nintendo).

Check it again. It says that Mario Kart DS launched WiFi Connection into the stratosphere.

Yes, ok. Hope lingers...

Mario Kart will rock, to be sure...I'm just always out for Brawl info...

You check it again.  It says "and now Nintendo is looking to do exactly the same thing for the Wii."

^Right. If Brawl is online, I am betting it will be 1vs1, which is not as "out of this world" as 16 player online battle mode.
