Heven't heard anything bad; for all I know it may very well be the next okami. Although, if I remember correctly Okami had a lot more pre-release critical acclaim than Dewy is getting. Speaking of... I actually haven't heard anything about Dewy being really good, either, so it could go either way.

I bought elebits and thought that it was way overrated on sites like IGN, traded it in like 2 weeks later. The fact that Dewy is from the same dev team as elebits doesn't bode too well for the game IMO. I expect scores in the 6-8 range.

Just a gut feeling tho, the game could be great. I just don't think as of now it belongs in the same sentence as Mario or Ratchet and Clank.   

Why is Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure missin from the list ??? it has to be considered as some sort of platformer.

Zack and Wiki is adventure.

360 hands down uuupppp wait just saw mario nevermind wii hands down...

Katamari is not a platformer.

Acme Arnsenal is also coming out for the PS2 which tells me several things:  the Wii version will probably look the same, the 360 version won't look much better if at all, and the PS3 will upscale on the PS3. 

But anyway, for me it comes down to whether I like Ratchet and Clank or Mario Galaxy better.  I'm not one of those that automatically assumes a Mario game will be an awesome platformer because I never liked Mario 64 due to the controller and the 3-D nature of the game.  I do plan to replay it on the Wii most likely. Sunshine was even worse.  

If New Super Mario Bros. 2 was coming out on the DS, I'd say the DS.  2-D mario, like 2-D sonic, might always be my favorites. 

Yeah zack and wiki is a point and click adventure. Theres no platforming in it. If there is its very little and not the core of the game.

There's only two games on that list that I see that I'm getting: SMG and Ratchet.

So Wii first, second PS3 and third 360.

Katamari is a carbon copy of the ones before and Dewey I don't think will be that big.

Nights will come out in 08, mark my words. It's a good thing too, I'd rather they actually put some effort in it.
