That's hilarious

Talk about marketing.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

Reminds me of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force fiasco.

Today also sees the launch of another hugely controversial title for a Nintendo machine, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.

It is the first 18-rated game for the DS handheld, a console massively-popular with children.

Isn't the average DS user in their 30's or 40's?

Fail article is fail.

I dunno about that. The DS is massively popular with children. While it's also true that the DS is popular with everyone (except adolescents who seem to prefer the "mature" games on PSP) what the article said was true. Kids love their DS, which we can all agree on.

# of games above 75 on Metacritic (including downloadable):

360: 241     DS: 144

PS3: 152     PSP: 126

Wii: 85

Man, that must have cost an arm and a leg to go through with the stunt.

Brilliant marketing - I hope all this controversy helps the sales. I dont get though, how the article's title is 'public sickened' but in the article itself it says there were no complaints. How is that 'sickened'?

lmfao, truly epic, the media dont even realise theyre giving them free hype and reacting exactly how the game company wants them too, best marketing ever!

Hey, if they actually left a copy on the hand, I would take it.

LOL!
