Forums - Sony Discussion - How much of a boost will FFXIII give PS3 in Japan?

Well there could be a price cut over the time it's released so I'm going to have to say 200K if there is a price cut before it's released and 150K if there is no price cut.

I would say it will be enough to make ps3 > ds + psp + wii + 360 for the week unless there is some major release for any of those that I am too lazy to look at ;p

“When I was 5 years old, my mom always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down “happy.” They told me I didn’t understand the assignment and I told them they didn’t understand life." - author unknown

At least as much as the MGS4 boost, if not as much as twice that.

over a 100k it will also keep the ps3 from hitting those lows it did there the last few years of 8-12k

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
