ok i have a friend thats playing with 22% connection and im just wondering whats the lowest connection you can have and play online without any problems? thanks in advance

Anything below 30 - 40% won't do you any good. That I know much. Your friend is better off using a wired connection rather than using wireless(unless they can't use a wired connection)

I'm usually between 40-50% and I rarely lag online (when I'm playing australian or asian country players).

I think it's more important who you're playing with, but for reference sake, from a bird's eye view of my house, my Ps3 is downstairs (of 2 stories) on the top right hand corner and my Wireless is upstairs on the top left hand corner (so basically as far away from each other as possible.

Im using wireless and I have no DC problems or any lagging problems at all...tho my connection strength is 90% so maybe thats why.

yea, 20% is awfully low. I would suggest your friend make sure as few objects as possible are between the PS3 and the wireless unit. Also, if any metal objects are in between, then move those right away, as metal blocks electromagnetic waves very well.

If that doesn't work, see if he can move the wireless unit closer to where the PS3 is.

I get kicked from killzone a lot on 40ish, so I just move my PS3 and TV closer to the router until I have like an 80% connection.

idk i always have mine at 85-95% tell him to go and mess with the antenna on the router to achieve a higher %

Mine is always at over 80%, with it being around 20 feet away and having two walls in the way.

hmm i dont no.. hes router is less then 20feet its just next to his sitting room which is weird
maybe its something metal like nordlead said... or could it be a crap router?... but thank for the replys guys
