Forums - Gaming Discussion - Who´s the lamest villain in a JRPG, in your opinion?

Rapthorne - Dragon Quest VIII

I thought Dhoulmagus was a great villain and a great boss, I beat it thinking I was at the end of the game... then Rapthorne appeared...that pathetic floating heart shaped thing. I was so shocked it was the main boss, Thank God he got a lot better at the end.

And the conversion of the thread's topic begins...

The Ice Queen from Enchanted Arms, Talk about Generic. she sounded sexy and all and was one of the best voice acters in the game, but as for the character her self, very off-putting.

Ultimecia from FF VIII
FF VIII had shitty villains. They switched on every disc, were never developed, never made sense, never had very clear motives....I remember nothing about her except her name, I don't even remember why she was evil or how she showed up in the story.

Such a forgettable Final Fantasy.

Crusty VGchartz old timer who sporadically returns & posts. Let's debate nebulous shit and expand our perpectives. Or whatever.

Heh, she was pretty generic. Her voice actor wasn't bad at all, and in fact, seemed pretty brilliant compared to some of the others. Atsuma and Makoto were terrible. Then again, so was the dialogue. "Toya! Toya? Toya!? Toya..."

Mithos from Tales of Symphonia is probably my pick.

That's kind of odd, was it for lameness or weakness?

I'd have to sat Dracula from PoR: he just gets back in his castle, then dies after a horribly dissapointing final battle. Not even having Death as a tag-partner helped....

Julius/Vandore from Sword of Mana. Biggest pushover I've ever fought in an RPG.

Pixel Art can be fun.

Lol!!! Glad someone else see's it the way i do. :D

Yeah she had an awesome voice acteress, IMO, Yeah Atsumas was pretty damn corny, but i know whos the voice acter for makoto so i put up with his fruityness (He also voice acts for the guy with the shades) he does a good job but his role as the fruity guy was comical.

You know who really got on my nerves? YUKI!!!! OMFG!! there has to be atleast ONE babyfaced little kid moaing and groaning all the damn time with a Squeaky little voice like a frickin chipmonk.

In recent JRPG's Lyme from SO4 TLH is the new Yuki... >_>

Why must JRPG female leads suck so bad?
