One of those 'this isn't helping nintendo gamers cries for more hardcore games' stats. 

To be fair, while a wii owner, I don't own a DS (or any handheld). I am aware of moon but am not a fountain of knowledge when it comes to the game. Still, with an ign score of 8.5 (very good), metacritic score of 74 (fairly good), and that grit that hardcore gamers have been clamoring for from third parties on nintendo systems, it's a shame that is was outsold by the likes off.... most everything.

Thoughts?

I feel good I'm one of them though I felt the game was mediocre...

Is this a game?  I've never even heard of it, seen it in a store... in which i was in many lately, nor... know anything about it.

You don't have to answer, but you get my drift. How can it sell when most probably don't even know what the hell it is, or even on. I see you wrote DS, so assuming it is on that.


Heck I didn't even know about Okama until I started going onto gaming forums and read about how much people worshiped the game and how great it was. Before that point just went to gaming websites and used tv commercials and stuff. which means i had no idea about the game.

I mean on gaming websites it probably doesn't even have a picture to go with review, just a link saying Moon Review. And you have to click. And for all I know hard as hell to find in stores as well. Heck it wasn't until 2 months after release before I found a "The world ends with you" in the DS section. They just didn't order any.

I genuinely find it surprising so many people don't know about this game. I haven't been tracking it on other sites, but IGN gave it a ton of press on its site and podcast. Like I said, I don't own a DS (nor do I follow it much), but I was aware of the hype they were putting behind it. Maybe no one else was though.

It's a FPS with nice graphics. Really the story is very weak on the other hand the gameplay is good. The reason I think this game is not too good is two main reasons. One it acts like its not a portable game your only able to save after completing a mission which can take up to 40 minutes. Also you see the same enemy over and over and over and over again until about the 8th mission when you finally see something new....

It's an FPS on the DS. Nuff said.
The only games that sell on that Platform are:
NIntendo games
Party games
Expanded Audience Games
RPGs
And some other lucky games
There's no love on the DS for FPS games. It should have come to Wii, where it would have done much better.
