So I was thinking about the Sony fanboys and thought “what is it that makes them love Sony so much?”

I mean they haven’t done much so they can be loved. What games did they create that was so successful that earned their love? All there games have either been bought or are third-party exclusives. They do not bring much new to the gamers only copy the things that have been successful in the market. A lot of games went angry when FF13 went over to the 360 I mean hello it is third-party it is bound to happen sometimes.

Is it blind love?  

I mean loving Nintendo is understandable because they do new stuff and create games that have earned them their love.

What I am trying to say is that you love the PS, PS2, PSP and PS3 because of the third-party not because of Sony so why all the Sony love?

- Good hardware
- Nice consoles (I mean esthetic)
- Great first party titles (crash, spyro, gran turismo, jak, ratchet, socom and all the others)
- They create the platinum / the best games
- I love the dualshock
- You can find every type of games on a playstation console.

Since when were things like Ico and GoW third party? Nintendo is not the only company with first party offerings, and there are indeed reasons to love Sony for the games they have created.

Sony made me a gamer. So it's like my first love.

And the Playstation brand hasn't earned there love? They came out with a console out of the blue when Nintendo was dominating the market and completely crushed everyone for almost 15 years because of obvious reasons,

How can you ignore the marsterpieces that came out of Sony

PS2 was a good bit of kit, some decent first party offerings and dualshock.

1: Don’t think so, sure the PS3 is a reliable system as I haven’t heard much bad about it but really both the PS and PS2 had problems.

3: crach is good sure but it is not fist party as it is on other platforms :P and so is spyro but I wouldn’t call it good though that is my opinion. An wow I just saw the socom reviews and it seems to be crap… lol

Um I think SONY took the gaming industry into a whole new era and made it the HUGE money maker it is at this time...

With the PsOne people finally started to see that gaming was'nt only for KIDS but that alot of gamers were actually alot more Mature...thus bringing us to this new age of gaming...if you didnt have a Psone from 1996 and up idk exactly what you were playing...not to say the N64 aint have great games because it did I had great memories of playing Goldeneye 64, Turok 64, Mario 64, Duke Nukem 64...wooo you name it...

also Sony has made alot of franchises widely popular...lets see

I can keep going on and on...I think every gamer out there should be greatful for every Console maker...Sony..Nintendo..Microsoft...they have ALL brought us great experiences

Call me a whore, I started off gaming with Atari and Nintendo then moved over to Sony, and now I am with Xbox 360. Not to mention my flings with Sega and Colleco Vision.

I used to be 100% true Sony Fanboy, and I finally realized there is no need to be devoted to 1 system 100%. It does nothing but keep you from playing good games and it can also make you look foolish.
