Snake would absolutely beat the shit out of Master Chief if we were comparing MC from the game series.

Fuck the books, MC cant do any of that shit in the game.

In the game he moves fucking slow, cant do no hand to hand combat shit, cant lift shit all and seems like an amazingly crappy generic character. He just looks like an ordinary futuristic soldier in the game, but in the books he is ridiculously powerful, so things obviously do not match up.

Compared to Snake or rather the MGS story as a whole, Snakes abilities are consistent through out, unlike MC where he is crap in the game but amazingly good at killing people in the books. This is why i do not rate MC at all because he has no personality what so ever and has never shown any real determination or anything of that sort in the games at least, compared to Snake who has been through a fuking microwave filled corridor whilst being half dead at the age of like 50/60 or however fuking old he is.

To sum up,

MC (from the games) vs Snake = Snake would beat the shit out of him
MC (from the books) vs Snake = almost certainly MC would win

MC from the game is the same MC as the book. What the book does is detail his story and the struggle. This isn't Batman and the Dark Knight saga (Which are seperate stories of Batman). Secondly, there is only so much you can do in a first person shooter like Halo as opposed to a third person espinoage game like MGS. TPS games are more controller friendly than FPS. IF Halo was a TPS, it would more outwardly be able to display MC's fighting ability as well as gunner skills.

Fuk that. So what ur saying is because HALO is a FPS, they cant implement any of that shit into the game. Yeah right. They could do it with cutscenes to show MC abilities but they haven't, so on that basis, MC is shit in the game, godly in the book.

The game focuses more on his run and gun skills. But based on attributes it's not even a fair fight. You have no proof based on attributes that Snake can Kill MC. I mean even Raiden would have a better chance than him.

im with gamer4eva on this one people brag about how amazing mc is but he has never shown anything amazing in any of his 3 games books are different because the mgs series has none so we cant go throwing in extra abilities for mc just because the book says he has them two different things a game and a book

Without the suit he can still fall from a mile up and not break any bones.

His bones are harder than steel and the muscles supporting his neck are more than five times stronger than a normal person's. They will not break.

More, his senses are three to five times sharper than a normal person's. Snake will not be sneaking up on him.

@CONCERNING THE BOOKS:

The books are still canon and evyrthing in them is acknowledged as canon by Bungie. Yes, they count, whether or not they are reflected in-game.

Um no?.... Halo: "The flood" was based on the first Halo game and then "First Strike" was in the middle of that and Halo 2. "The Fall of Reach" Was the prequel to Combat Evolved. The books are great for brushing up on knowledge on the character that you're playing in the game and the Halo Universe as it is. Just because the game restricts certain amounts of combat and vantage points, doesn't make MC weaker. I wouldn't even know his measurements if the book didn't exist.

Well i see that as a flaw in the game. They have to create books in order for the gamer to understand whats going on during the game i consider that alone a bit pathetic. Next i have no idea how a person such as mc got so popular yes i have read the first 3 books and beaten the 3 halos and threwout all of them the mc has no personality so you dont know mc all you know about him is he is a super soldier walking around in a green super suit. Which also in my opinion is horrible for an author to do making an entire book not giving your character any sort of personality trait. Srry for getting off topic just had a lot to get off my chest

Fuck proof, u just know Snake would kill MC if we were comparing them from the games. Its factual evidence that Liquid is the superior clone but yet it is always Snake that beats him, despite Snake being the crappiest version of Big Boss. So we don't need factual statistics or what ever because from the games, Snake is just better. Snake defies all odds. 

- He beats Cyborg Ninja in a fist fight

* Considering he beats a guy who can stop Metal Gear Rex (like a 100 tonne monster machine) dead in its tracks shows that it isnt all about strength (which is what MC has *supposedly* by the boat load)

- He beats a guy and a woman (MANTIS) who can read people minds

* This guy & woman could read Snake every move, but yet he still beats him. (THAT DEFIES THE LAWS OF LIFE ITSELF)

- He takes down numerous Metal Gears 

- He beats superior versions of himself as i stated before (I BET YOU MC COULDN'T BEAT A SUPERIOR VERSION OF HIMSELF)

- He can run up on people and kill them with a tin of beans without GOD himself even noticing (MASTER OF STEALTH)

- He beats an immortal (IMPOSSIBLE BUT NOT FOR SNAKE)

- He shows immense determination (MICROWAVE SCENE ANYONE)

- Snake can survive up to 300 GHz worth of microwaves for period of time (2.5Ghz is what a normal microwave has)

I mean from the games, MC dies from getting shot at a couple of times, so on that basis his armour doesn't do shit all. Snake on the other hand doesn't even wear armor to now where near the extent of MC and yet i bet you he can take more bullets.  Snake would destroy him.

If you think about their attributes and other factors it's quite simple. It's like comparing a hill to a mountain. Bias is to ignore facts as based on a one sided favoritism.

There is a bunch of ways you could change the scenario to have either character win. Even if you think it as comparing a hill to a mountain I could also say it's like comparing David to Goliath.
