Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Wii Fanboys Only: Wii about to sell 50 million and beat the SNES

^ and for me a GT or a FF don't define a system??? So what i'm right?? im wrong??? No, i just have a different opinion. If someone feels like Castlevania judgement is a good game, and it defines the wii, good for him. You, and reviewers, can't change that.

Not everyone thinks like you my friend

lol. Right... the moment you start tossing the word "opinion" around, you've lost the argument my friend.

No wonder Wii is selling like hotcakes...every game that someone out there likes is an instant classic.

This smells of trolling. Reported.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

^ i wouldn't be saying that... it's the ps3 that gets its games hyped the second they are announced :D

But w/e. If u feel everyone has to think like you, or base what they like in reviews.... im sorry dude.

Oh, and it's you who wants to make your opinions into facts, not me ;) And my argument doesn't fall apart, b/c again, imo (personal preference) i don't like FF, so that doesn't define a system. That's just me, i know. And my argument was that, that someone can enjoy a game and define it's system by that game... even if reviews are bad.

Take a better example. Wii sports.... reviews??? really low??? How do you define de wii??? :O what do u know

^Ok...lets try this again.

Games that majority of people who bought the wii may have wanted to play:

Wii sports??? Absoluteley yes

Castlevania Judgement??? I dont know about that one

I don't like FF as well (Final Fantasy right?) but I respect the fact that a great amount of people found those games to be of amazing quality and have decided to buy the systems that those games came out on solely to play that game.

Which brings me to another point...Wii can not release a game for 6 months and it will still sell like hotcakes.

So back to the my first post...SNES earned its 50 mil sales with amazing games hence why its 10X better than the Wii.

Well, i know the Snes had a great library. But this is not over. Let's wait at the end of the wii's cycle and compare libraries. It looks like the wii will have awesome games too (recent announcement of DQX for example)

Why would we celebrate? Snes is 10X the console Wii has been up to this point...

In what sense?

Snes was on top of the gaming world from 1994 to 1996 with some of the best software ever released. Any type of game you liked...Snes had 10 games worth playing for that genre. There are atleast 30 classic games I can name off the top of my head for the Snes.

Wii thus far will be remembered for

Mario Galaxy

Zelda TP

Metroid Prime 3

Smash brothers Brawl

Mario Kart Wii

Wii Fit

Wii sports

Anyting else Im missing?

You know you are in trouble when 3 of the 8 AAA games for the system are ports of last gen games. (zelda, RE4, Okami)

I would argue that the Zelda was 1st on the wii and ported to the GC.

I have to agree with my little brother Soma on that we should wait until it beats the NES =b

lol, no, you should be my little brother, I'm 27 =p

Oh, and Castlevania Judgment is great, but definitely is not a fighter, is more an action fighter game. Instead of being something like say, TMNT Tournament Fighters, it's more like the Versus option in TMNT Turtles in Time.

I believe Zelda was done for the Gamecube almost a year before and then they said fuck it as Gamecube was a lost cause and held it until 2006 when they released it for the wii. But it did come out on the Wii first so I see what you're saying...

Wii Play, Mario Party 8, Boom Blox, Wii Music, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, Carnival Games, and a few games being released this year will all be remembered for far longer than RE4 or Okami on the Wii for better and for worse. Why you would think comparing a long dead system to one not halfway through its lifespan is in anyway useful I don't know though. It proves nothing.
