Depends on the game.  Splinter cell online is good small, but cod i like large for more guys to kill and get experience.

Gears works good 4-5 people teams.

I hope you aren't insinuating that more player on a team can't equal more fun.

Im not. It can be more fun.  Its just that people use the fact that a game is superior because it has more players playing at a time which isn't true.

For example Halo 3 is a personal experience. 4 on 4 in slayer is perfect because the people that started the match finish the match. Basically its about trash talking before the round...owning the same 4 players durring the round...making sure you teabag...and then trash talking after if you won, or quickly dropping before they get to trash talk if you lost. hehe

I find that 8 on 8 in halo 3 is not as fun as 4 on 4...even if it has much more carnage.

30 vs 30 in halo would suck major ass... Its not there because they can't do it, but because it wouldn't be fun.

I enjoyed Resistance: FOM more than I enjoyed Halo 2, though I have to admit I never finished Halo as I didn't own an Xbox, but I've heard it's leagues above Halo 2/3

played both if you have an xbox halo is must like wise resistance is a must for PS3 also Resistance 1 was better then 2 in my mind 2 was good just not as good.

I prefer halo3 online to resistance so would give the edge to Halo

still how great would it be if Killzone2 was a killer app, game wise that brought something new and exciting to the genre. kinda like cod4 did last year.

I like left4 dead its frenetic and chaotic. still gaming becomes business as usual and something fresh and new is needed.

IMO, I think R2 is better than Halo 3.

having played all of the games, i would say that Halo easily wins. its really no competition.
