Saw it coming.

Disappointing, though.

Mark my words: if Fabula Nova Crystalis doesn't take the world by storm and set everyone's pants on fire, the cost of making these games all at once is going to choke Square-Enix to death.

The game is probably going to barely make it on the PS3 by the end of 2009 in JP, and you think the game is coming before April 2010 in NA, and especially EU?

The ramifications for this game switching consoles, as I said back when it happened wouldn't bee seen for years. The game isn't coming to NA until mid-late 2010, and EU may be as late as 2011.

It's going to be a long couple of years people. Better play some other JRPGs til then. SO4 comes out in March, play that!

The only way I can play SO4 is if they port it to the PS3 which I doubt they will at this point :(

So I guess I will just have to settle for WKC in the interim.

this is ridiculous, it will have been almost 5 years. If they knew they werent going to release it till 2010 then quit hyping it up now!!!!! I cant believe they are waiting till 2010. Screw this Xbox port that is what is slowing it down, give the PS3 users a times exclusive. Wouldnt that be fair

Oh FY 2010 will be a biggie for SE: DQIX and FFXIII (Japan).
FY 2011 FFXIII (rest of the world) + Versus (Japan)
FY 2012 DQX and Versus (Rest of the world)

Seems like SE's hard days are over. Kingdom Hearts 3: sorry.

I'm just wondering how they'll look before that point, given that they're still developing all the Fabula Nova Crystalis projects at the same time, and that they usually can release three proper Final Fantasy games in a generation instead of just one.

I still get the feeling they're going to lose a lot of potential money this generation because they went with the mantra of "bigger, better, stronger".

Wow, and PS3 owners are feeling the pain of the 360 port which no doubt will increase the delay between Japanese and American release.
