Dewys Adventure bombed badly in Japan, konami could match wiki's price or drop it to 30$.

This sounds like a great game, and when this and Metroid come out, it'll probably get me to go down to gamestop and get a Wii.

You say that like you think it will be easy.  Like buying a gallon of milk or something.

Has anyone take a gander at the list and become concerned about the number of $40 games coming out? Sure, the Wii costs less to develop for. But if publishers keep prices this low, Wii owners are going to become reluctant to pay $50 or more for a game. And that means developers will have to keep their future titles short and/or simple to meet this lower price point.

I'm all for paying less (and many of these games aren't even worth $40), but this is a trend that needs further analysis and I hope it doesn't compromise future Wii titles.

Numbers are like people. Torture them enough and you can get them to say anything you want.

VGChartz Resident Thread Killer

In todays climate of endless sequels and peoples reluctance to buy anything they dont already own 5 versions of already, it makes alot of sense to make the first game in a new IP a budget title, even if the game is absolutely brilliant and gets shining reviews, certain titles get overlooked because people are scared to take a risk.

Capcom are probbably a little reluctant to compete againts the plumber too, which is more than understandable.

Maybe I missed it, but didn't see Pinball Hall of Fame on the budget list. Comes out in Oct for only 30 clams. I played the hell out of the one on the GC and can't wait to get this one.

Good news about Z&W, but I don't think 40 bucks is really "budget". Anyways, I really hope Z&W is as fantastic as IGN, among others, are saying it is.

Samba De Amigo would interest me far more if it was developed by 1999/2000 Sega rather than 2007 Sega ...

The Dreamcast had some amazing games (Jet Grind Radio) that really showcased Sega's creativity and that was all killed when they became a third party...

I hope they put the DC on the virtual console. It really did have neat games people would buy.

The memory for DC games is too big to put on your flash memory on VC... So don't get your hopes up.
