FilaBrasileiro where are you getting 310k in the Uk? The link to DMJ's thread simply had a list of numbers with no source. The link he provided simply went to a forum, not even a forum post, just a forum. GFK's own website just contains a numbered list of where they placed in the chart, no sales figures. Which had LBP just above FC2 in the Uk. FC2 has sold 500k in the Eu, compared to LBP 900k. So certainly I can't take anything from just the GFK list. So where exactly are the figures? Im not attacking you, I would just like to know where that number is coming from.

Once again I feel the need to remind people that Sony's numbers for PSN contain both PSP and PS3 accounts. However they apparently do not contain duplicate accounts. At a rough guess PSP makes up around 2/3 of all PSN accounts. So roughly 6million PS3 accounts I guess.

I don't take that analysts estimate about the PS3 PSN userbase because it would mean he was estimating only around 1/6 or so PSP users had ever been online with the PSP even once. Considering the PSP has been out longer and has a userbase over 2 times the size of the PS3's I think saying around 1/3 of PSN accounts are from the PS3 is about right.



Turkish says and I'm allowed to quote that: Uncharted 3 and God Of War 3 look better than Unreal Engine 4 games will or the tech demo does. Also the Naughty Dog PS3 ENGINE PLAYS better than the UE4 ENGINE.

I call BS on that, 360 outsold the PS3 by over a million in december ... yeah the same amount of people sign up to PSN as Live? don't think so.

People with PSP's can also make PSN accounts so maybe the number of PSN accounts may be bigger than what we thought

The guy on that forum actually had a scan with real numbers. The scans were taken down, but the numbers and the guy are legit.

1.3 doesn't make sense as chart tracker has littlebigplanet for 350 K only in UK.

I'll believe you.  Despite you often giving me reasons not to.

Though I will also state... often times the American branch has no clue what the Japanese branch is talking about... and phrasing could have been at play.
