Keep in mind ioi doesn't really adjust for NPD anymore, NPD showed vgchartz overtracking Wii Madden and undertracking Madden PS2, PS3 and 360. It also showed Soul Calibur IV slight overtracked on both PS3 and 360 and no adjustments were ever made.

Well according to the NPD it sold 205,000 in October and 141,000 in November in the U.S. According to VGChartz, it sold over 600,000 in the U.S. during those two months. That's over double what the official NPD numbers said. That would account for 300,000 units of the 600,000 VGChartz has inflated the sales. Then they simply added a couple thousand here and there over time and now people can pretend it broke 2 million when it's barely broken 1.

LBP seems to have sold 1.3 to retailers...it really isn't bad..that is great
I'm not a fanboy, I just try to tip the balance in favor of logic and common sense.
For the highest rated exclusive game on the console and a game that was hyped to be Sony's defining new franchise, 1.3 million is not great, it is a flop. If some game that came out of nowhere like Dead Space sold 1.3 million on the PS3, THAT would be great. LBP didn't come out of no where. It's the PS3's all-star.

guys they misquoted. i just called sony's pr department in the usa. he said playing online. his speech was about the psn. what would sold copies have anything to do about the psn since it isnt sold on the ps store like warhawk and socom. 1.3m users online. end of story. vgc did not overtrack.
