What do you reckon, both Gran Turismo 5 and Final Fantasy XIII are tentatively scheduled for release this year, you would imagine theyd be the main contenders, or do you think a new ip will emerge?

Most likely a fairly mediocre Wii game.

GT5 and FFXII if released, won't make it out till the very end of the year, which puts them at a big disadvantage.

A lot of factors are involved, and a lot of release dates are unknown. I'm going to guess Call of Duty 6 (yes, I called it that) but I have no way of knowing.

Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

It seems like an exciting thread until you think about wii games.

Just change the question to what game that is released in 09 will sell the most in 09.

I will agree that COD6 ( COD: Modern Warfare 2) will sell the most since it is multiplat.

What HD exclusive game will sell the most?
