So I was playing home, roaming around talking to people aimlessly but there's some guy (his name is George something) walking around to every black person in the game calling them "niggers". And the next thing I know, I'm caught up in some big racial fight between him, a racist girl who came out of no where, and 4 black dudes.

so as the insults keep going and going, they (by they I mean the racist ass holes) just started to ignore their insults and started saying things like "mud people, monkies etc." So to piss them off I start walking all up in their face and dancing while writing "look at me, I'm dancing!!!" (Watching some other guy inspired me to do this lol) they both start looking at me and kept saying "fuck off, jeez you're an ugly monkey" but I paid no attention to them. I just kept dancing, commenting, and laughing:) so as they started talking to each other, I started to interupt them with my dancing (lol) and they just said "GOD!!! let's get away from these niggers" so they buzz off all annoyed. Nothing else happened after that

I find this experience weird but as a good way to teach people how to deal with racism on HOME lol. The reason why I wasn't so pissed was because......well........I guess I learned how to ignore 'em.

So you've proved two things on Home:

1. People can run around being racists assholes
2. You can easily grief people by walking in front of them screaming look at me

Ugh, and I forget which thread, but someone said earlier today that Home didn't have the same 13 year old twats like Live does.  Should have just reported him, you were just doing exactly what he wanted you to do.

 From my experience, there aren't alot of annyoing little 13 year old kids on HOME (or PSN) but we're talking about racism, not kids.

I have found that with Home you don't need 13 year old kids to still have stupid people annoying you. You can find 23 year olds that act even dumber.

It is amazing how people act in Home. I had this older fella back when voice chat was around sticking his avatars crotch in my guys face while me and my brother were talking in the Central Plaza. This lead to me trying be polite and leaving the situation, but then the dude kept following us around making stupid sounds in the mic. So I tell the dude to back off, and act like a human being, and he is like FU kid, I am a 43 year old man, and I can do what I want. Then he kept on going on about how this is the internet and you can't control millions of people.

People like this are a disgrace to mankind. Both the people in the OP's thread and many other accounts of total jackasses is what is going to be the biggest issue Home faces. Home should be a way to go and talk to friends or family in a 3D space, were you feel comfortable, and safe. With idiots running around it really hurts the potential of the service.

To me people saying it is not the real world is irrelevent. You can still get in trouble, it is still rude, and you still shouldn't do it.
