Forums - Sony Discussion - Anybody plays their PS3 on old school SD?

I do, on a slightly broken 32 inch SDTV, complete with two stereo speakers and partially purplish spot on the right side of the screen! I'll get an HD some day, but the prices are pretty high, but at least im ready, i already bought the HD component cables lol.

The jump from SD to HD is immense both in picture quality and sound quality.

I used to use my ps3 with a sd tv, but after visualizing the awesomeness that is the picture quality of HDTV - i went out and got me one the very weekend (still on my cc, but ... well... yea)

Half the time I do...
Because my HDTV is at my dads, so when I live with my mom, I play on my 20" SDTV :(

I did up until a month ago. Now I play on a 32 inch HD TV. The jump in quality was amazing.

I do. I have a HDTV but my dad watches it most of the time so I can't use it

When my drunken friends wrecked my television I was forced to go back to using the 32" SD-TV. Wasn't so bad, I was pleasantly surprised to learn how many titles are actually configured for Standard Definition.

But then my friends pooled together and got me a new HD-TV for Christmas. This is why I don't murder them when they wreck my stuff.
