Forums - Gaming Discussion - Wii Fit is the biggest recent news event according to Famitsu readers

Surprised at LBP and Home, they have received little coverage in Japan.

Nice list, though the most things were expected I think.

I wonder what the new PSP model will do.

9. Peter Moore leaving Microsoft to go to EA

Really? Just because of that I don't give this poll much credibility. How many Japanese players really care about Peter Moore and EA?

6. Announcement of the Zapper for the Wii

Really? It's just a shell. A peice of plastic. It does nothing but make you hold your wiimote in a certain way. Why would you even want to be forced into holding it a certain way?

I think it'll be kinda cool. Plus it's easier to let the shell hold it in a "gun" way then it would be for myself to hold the remote like that. Still... doesn't seem like it should be "big" news.

the shell damn well better come with RE:UC.... although if it comes with some wii-play like mini software it could be worth maybe £15, damn wii-play shooting game is fun.

As long as it's being discussed. Can someone tell me what Peter Moore leaving the 360 for EA might actually mean? Will it have an impact on the practices of either companies? Will they become closer? farther apart?

I'm sure it's important. I just can't figure out why yet.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

It's means that Microsoft is going to buy EA.. Well not really, but if Sony fanboys can have their dream of Sony buying Rockstar I can dream too right?

Such a high exec leaving a Corporation is big news in Japan, it never happens there.

Its a famitsu poll...so it`s what core gamers are more interested in. That`s why the 360 software is there, and Wii`s isn`t. This has the same relevance as the Famitsu Most Wanted list: No one.

diegomoroco777,

How do you know that for sure? I've heard that Famitsu is very well respected and widely read in Japan.
