I think it'll be named GTA: Wii Party Mini Games Compilation

As more and more software companies announce losses, expect a lot more quotes just like this one.

CEOs need to explain to shareholders why they are losing money, and at the same time ignoring a console that has 50% market share.

Thats a brilliant point. Shareholders have no idea about casual / hardcore and can't make any difference betweek Carnival Games and GTA IV. All they see and care about are numbers and they know very well what 50% market share + lower development costs means.

One the one hand, it almost sounds like he's apologizing to his fans for having to make more Wii games in the future. On the other hand, he sounds like a lot of other lying executives who paid lip service during financial briefings to how they were going to pay more attention to the Wii in the future and then never followed through on it and are still losing money (I'm looking at you, EA).

More Carnival Games on the way!

They think these "adult" games wouldn't perform on the Wii. Not the case imo. I'll bet that if they developed a GTA game specifically for the Wii i.e. not a shoddy port but a an all-new exclusive title, and pushed it with any sort of advertising like they did with GTAIV, it'd sell extremely well. Extremely.

The simple fact is there hasn't really been a high-profile Wii-centric "mature" title released and pushed like that. We've seen a few ports such as RE4 (which did manage to sell well) but that's it.

Sure you can, I do it every day =)

GTA: Carnival Games? What?

Just thinking of all the shady goings on lurking beneath a veneer of family entertainment has me excited at this idea.

Seriously.

I think the funniest thing about this topic is that it's inspired an awful lot of "GTA: Carnival Games LOL" talk. I do wonder if they could make something like that and not have it be a total disaster. Of course, just about any idea can be made into a good idea, as long as you polish it long enough... Even if the end result barely resembles what you started with...

Sky Render - Sanity is for the weak.

I'm doubt that Take2 really going to make casual game or not ,because that wasn't their style.
Instead i think they'll make some thing that suit for hardcore gamers ,like they said they didn't make GTA:CT for children.

New IP maybe?
