I've played SMT Strange Journey, it's not a SRPG like Devil Survivor, it's more of a dungeon crawler with first person battles. Its got demon negotiation like you'd expect. Its a little slow at first but it does pick up.

I plan on getting both Devil Survivor + Strange Journey once I get this DS fixed.

A friend of mines Son broke his DSlite, he dropped if off their deck. They bought him a new one and gave me this one :) Will be a reasonably easy fix, Im just lazy :(

yesterday morning i beat the ps3 version of ff13, so all i have to do is all the role jobs max out,mark missions and 100k single dmg and so on. taking breaks from that while playing ff12 on my ps2, i am about 45 hrs into the game now, i figure i should have it beaten by friday at the latest.

also going to replay the ar tonelico games alittle before my import copy of part 3 arrives this week.
@ everyone , during your playthrough of "dark cloud". how many of u upgraded your chronicle sword into the chronicle 2 sword and max it out? and also maxed out everyone ones weapons ? and got 100% completion for the town building ? just curious , i did and i am very confident alot of the regular's in this thread did as well. all this talk about ps2 hd upgrades like the gow collection for the ps3, got me thinking of the " dark cloud " games and i got the urge again to play the games, has anyone else gotten the urge to replay some ps2 rpg's or jrpg's due to this talk?

@ Robo: Im playing Shadow Hearts right now, so yep. Yuri is awesome. And yes, I did everything in both Dark Clouds (and since we are talking Level 5) I did everything in Rogue Galaxy as well.

Ooo Awesome to hear about you and FFXII. How are you enjoying it so far? Im on Disc 3 of FF8 (almost to where I quit last time). And I should finish it by around the same time you finish FF 12. Seems our little deal is working doesnt it?

So it's a mixture of a classical JRPG interface (Dragon Quest/ Phantasy Star) but with SMT gameplay? That sounds awesome then

I maxed everything in the Level 5 games, both Dark Cloud, Dark Chronicles and Rogue Galaxy. RG took me the most time, by far. Doing the Ghost Ship Extreme over and over again to get the last items for the Revelations Board was a long time consuming process

I'm very glad to hear you're getting back at FFXII. You know what I think about it, since it's my second favourite FF of all time. Hope that you dwelve a lot into it, not just the main game, but all the side exploration and the espers/mark hunts.

If you ever need any tips or help for Zodiark, Hell Wyrm, Yiazmat or Omega Mk. II just say so  

@ssenkahdavic, yes it seems the deal is working pretty good. glad u did everything in dark cloud and i figured u did as well. glad u brought up rogue galaxy, i need to go back and finish a few things.
@darth, actually after i gave ff12 a real chance , i dont hate it anymore but its still not in my top 25 rpg's for the ps2 though, so basicly i like it.

Cool at least you have gone from hating to liking it now, so thats good

You know...that is exactly my feeling for FF8.  I still HATE HATE HATE the draw magic system, but I think Im looking past that and enjoying the game now (I could not before).
