i guarantee that if super smash bros came out within the last month, a bunch more people would be voting for it for best musical score, most innovative, etc. i swear, left 4 dead for overall game of the year? just because the game came out three weeks ago and it still has steam. gears of war 2 for most innovative? maybe gears of war 1 in 2006, but gears 1 is the same thing as gears 2 just added stuff. not saying that makes it a bad game at all, im just saying at this point, its far from innovative.

its just really sad how the only games thought of game of the year worthy are only games that have came out within the last couple months of the year. its beyond depressing actually.

and another thing, i am sick of people picking games that came out last year. i know mass effect is a great game, but it came out last fucking year. i saw somebody else also pick god of war: chains of olympus. are you guys that dense? i hope these votes dont count because they are a waste in considering what should be game of the year for 2008. if we are really going that route, then i am going to just vote the legend of zelda: a link to the past for overall game of the year.
